Prickless Pear is a sculpture made of green marble that invites us to pause and experience the plasticity in contemporary marble design.
Originally inspired by the cactus plant, with its distinct harmonic irregularity & fluidity, on·entropy has conceived each leaf of the sculptures as a free, hand-drawn circular plane. This 2D planar surface then acquires volume and evolves into an extraterrestrially shaped sculpture.
Both the organic arrangement of the natural world & the essence of the macro-cosmic form, are married into a unique sculptural piece.
