Cutting Corners is a marble & bronze coffee table designed to celebrate curvaceousness in slender shapes.

It consists of an oval surface and two sculptural legs, made out of marble and bronze.

The marble base is carved out of seamless volume, the design of which combines simple geometric forms into a voluptuous base. Despite its volume and sculptural feel, the base features subtle contours and a fine mat finish.

The curvature of the marble is highlighted by a thin bronze surface, which sits just opposite and acts as an unobtrusive support. Its slenderness juxtaposes the marble volume and its patina adds to the timelessness of the base, transforming it into a balanced whole.

With two discreet legs, the purity of the white oval surface takes center stage. This includes the fine form of the ellipse, its thinness and unique vein pattern.

All design components and finishing details become exposed by the meticulous carving of master marble & bronze craftsmen, highlighting the tactility of the materials and inviting the user to a sensory experience.
